The mayor of Chicago, Tom Kane (Kelsey Grammer) finds out that he has a neurological disorder, but he keeps it a secret so that he can hold on to power. Political hijinks ensue.

Boss is the dark horse of this TV season, and Kelsey Grammer acts the hell out of his role, with fans already clamoring to give him award recognition.

Tom Kane’s senior political advisor, Kitty O’Neil (Kathleen Robertson), perennially looks like she just walked out of a TV commercial about women who take their glasses off and whip out their hair the if a man wearing a particular brand of deodorant walks by.
